Come with me to
November's ball
Decorations supplied
by scorched leaves
as they fall.
Scattered about like
dicarded party favours
They crunch under foot
exuding scents one
should savour.
The wind through
bare branches
be our violins.
As the dropping
of chestnuts
signals the party's
begin.
Thick carpet of green
means no need
for our shoes
We can waltz
one with nature
Till bare toes
dot with dew.
If chilled we'll
take refuge
in balsam and cedar
Enter bunnies....
then us...
Just like follow
the leader.
So meet me tonight
under glow of
pale moon.
Celebrate changing
of seasons
For winter's arrival
is soon.

Welcome to Passions!

You know...
Came back for another read...it was your poem that inspired mine.  I think it was the bunnies.
There is a special sensuality about the autumn...the moon knows, nature knows...and some of us more sensitive also know.

Deserving of another bump.
Thanks for the inspiration.
That's how it is here.
