More Than Enough

“That’s quite enough of thee,”
said he,
who could see
her growing
quite portly
with each nibble
and dribble
upon her bibble.

Yet,
should we quibble
over one or two
nibbles
from Sybil
who’d rather dine
with fine wine
than on
muskrat fat
and more than that
with friend or foe
than elephant’s toe.

Okay, I’ll go,
but you should know
there are worse things
than listening to
the Mad Hatter’s niece.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

This is really cute. I really enjoyed the light-hearted read.

The doc would be proud.

Live like it's your last day...
Dance like nobody's watching...
Love like you've never been hurt...
