scent
association with
the obvious of intellect
Where is your emotion, child?
Changeling
worshipping caress
words that do not cling to me
strident
Harper's livery

I see

every shadow of your keep
but I cannot suckle you.

I could parse your sentences
and you would read a catalog
of a human being freed
clever
as the ticking clock
mimicking the beat of free

and never spill a heart-blood drop.

Just another parlor trick
lose these lessons taught to you
like the Buddhist
in the chant
knowing that
they don't know that
smiling secrets kept until

the moment hesitates, illumed:

Thrice the crowing of the cock
in the shadows of the word
stating that they know this not--

scent
association with
the obvious of intellect
embracing ludicrous absurd.

"Thrice the crowing of the cock

stating that they know this not--"
Now that is delicious poetry
Good morning sweet

Having to smile at this...
as its very subject arose
times three just yesterday...

leave it to you to
feel my thoughts...

Wonderful write Ser!
Love ya lady~

Now while the leaves still dance on the wind
While the moon and the clouds come spinning
Will you whisper my name again?
Again..and again.

there is no inscrutable
emotion

the trials of finding the balance
are the
    trails blazed with failure

the balance is the average
for us

the only time we flatline is when dead

smile
we are doomed to ups and downs
and religions are littered
with the attempts
to make us dead

flat
         happy

life is beautiful
life is pain
both

I have to think on this one - on its intent -sometimes I think I'm too defined in the obvious that the subtle slips by me - ah, well, I enjoy the feel of the words anyway

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.
