Egyptian sands swirl through time,
Quests by man in mark of rhyme.
Reason leaves as minds behoove,
The Celts and Druids left to prove.

Remains begotten in cryptic code,
Mysteries solved in bardic ode.
Look to red star and Mayan maps,
Or man shall slip in mortal lapse.

great lines of non-forced rhyme

seems an in-depth study may have prompted this piece

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

VAS ~

Hi! It's good to hear from you this beautiful November morning! Actually, I wrote this poem without a thought ~ or an edit! Ah, the wonders of writing poetry! Where does it all come from!

Don't ever, ever question or quiz the muse,
dear friend...that words come, is all that
should be...and ever grateful are your readers!

what thoughts were danced
by this ancient muse?
what images were focused
to be perused?
Tell us angel,
what was the mood
that brought about these words
our minds chew upon as food?

hehe- am curious about where this came from -

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.

I appreciate you saying so! But I personally do not deserve the credit! I was, shall we say, divinely guided!
