Listening to every heart

To Ice’s November

Shivering kissed clean
Lady trees shake quivering
Breeze shuffling skirts

All the while their slips showing
Pale limbs tremble in winds chill

giggle

cute picture with delightful action, guess that means this is a "moving picture"

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Karilea
I am honored by the title of this Tanka...

It made me blush a little..a tiny bit, or maybe the redness in my cheeks was from being out all day in yesterdays cold, November wind?

This poem reminds me of the shag-barked hickories behind my house...
Their bark protrudes in sheets , like rough petticoats...or slips

And their limbs are pale, a silvery color, that "tremble in winds chill"

This poem makes me shiver a bit, as if I were out in the cold and not dressed for chilly weather...
And yet I have no mind set to gather up jackets, it seems to urge me to take off what little I have and stand closer to the "lady trees"

Peace--------ice/ford

very real images...and the feeling of november

in the end it's not just you with your memories and your scars, fall on me if you ever forget how beautiful you are.
