After the sun sets
Smothered in jungle
On low hills

Down the line
Pop up flares
A stream of tracers
Over razor wire

My friend for now
We’re all we have
We’re alone together

Until the dawn
We’ll be as one

One hope
One heart
One life to lose

Oh, I see here the images so vividly - so much displayed in so few words - well done

Susan

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.
