Not Just A Waning Rose
~~~~~~~~~~
Leaving the page of my poem
I stroll into the garden of my mind
where the intense heat of honesty flows.
I cannot tell why,
but I lay among the thorns
a torn case of naked truth.
My tongue is broken,
but I’m not just a waning rose of summer.
I can hear the birds and see the sun.
The ocean softly touches the warm sand
I see your sparkling eyes
and that is where my trembling heart is born again.
Welcome home Debra!  So good to read you again..
and this is perfectly lovely!
Hugs~
Now while the leaves still dance on the wind
While the moon and the clouds come spinning
Will you whisper my name again?
Again..and again.
I see your sparkling eyes
and that is where my trembling heart is born again.
You've spoken this with passion
and a fine golden bow
