Circles Sphere

We spin a web of circles sphere
That’s neither far or either near
And in the process chase the fox
Who holds the key to all the locks?

Within the spinning of the web
There is a flow and is ebb
We are within a firmament
Each circle spins a new event.

With filigree of fire flies
That light, the darkness of the sky
We dance unto the fifer’s fife
A wick of time a wick of life

Illusion spins a fantasy
A point within eternity
A rainbow of a bridge of sighs
And treasure where horizon lies

It is an entertaining game
But damn if I can see its aim.

Sybabers...ya got the rhymes spinning on dimes with this wonderful witty write...

A wick of time a wick of life

and that verse is soooo cooool it leaves me giddy..just look at the clever word play of assonance and allits.

You are our pied piper poet...we'll follow you anywhere.

Poetry is emotion put into measure.
The emotion comes by nature ...
but the measure is acquired by art.

LOL the clock is running down.

JM,
If I could think a wink for you
I'd mix it in a drink for you
And change into my Randy clothes
And kiss you on the lips and nose.
