rustle, rustle
urge to grab a rake
pile ‘em high
let time fly
with the fun
filling me with glee
after all
raking someone else’s leaves
would please my innards

at least until
rake in hand
I came to stand
where mine demand
a bit of my attention
don’t like that convention
wouldn’t be play
in my own yard

‘sides, the foundation vents
need covering

autumn's rustling up a batch of thoughts
again

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Excellent write Virginia..
Funny how it doesn't seem like work in someone else's yard..
more like playtime!
I so much enjoyed this one!
Hugs~
