Me without You

Somewhere in the
middle of nowhere
I found you, and
I was captivated
by the presence
of you, leading
me to the place
within my heart
where I had feelings
to share with you.

And then all I wanted
to do, was to be with
you, and care for you.

You seemed pleased to
want me too, and for
awhile bluebirds sang
and even when it rained
I was never sad or blue.

But then, I lost you, and
now I feel the pain,
especially when it rains,
I think of me without you.
