You try and to find love
A one so deep
That no one can still
That one love away

You look for so long
But it never comes
And the deeper your
Lonliness and depression comes

The deeper the depression
The deeper the sadness goes
To the point
You just want to give up hope

Deeper and Deeper
Year after Year
You get sick of looking
You get sick of trying

So failure after failure
Deep down inside
Your heart turns cold
And goes from red to black

Deeper and deeper your love pulls back
Until all that is in your heart
Is nothing but hate and pain
And all you feel is empitiness inside

Then after awhile
You feel nothing

Cold hands means a warm heart

Julie

Love will come into your life when you least expect it.  I am sure many people feel that finding love is hopeless.  Don't give up!

I know how you feel

I think I gave up a long time ago....if it happens, it happens...I'm impartial now

I know how this feels. If this is about you I wish for brighter days. It's sad but you wrote about it so well!

This breaks my heart - there is a lot to be said for love thyself - then spread the love with no expectations for reciprocation - and you will find that love will surround you - it's good karma

Julie Girl:

Lift up that pretty little head of yours and be proud...
You write from your heart, and there is nothing there but light.

No drama, no hate...just smooth calm waters.

Expressed these dips into oblivion very well.

is the reward greater than the wait? Is the wait greater than the reward? The reward is inevitable, tho it seems not...funny, never thought of "love" in these terms til now, but it's sorta like working on a contract basis.  One day you have a job, next day you don't....but each day you do is wonderful, and you forget all about the days of naught.

Hopefully the next day you do...there will never again come a "naught"
