It is not the inside
nor,   is it the out,
leaving a feeling felt
more of somewhere
in between
high and low
where the unbalanced   edges
struggle to seek foothold
secure enough
allowing weights to rest
   a little easier
so as not to   s l i p
from this side,     to that
but rather
to find a balance
somewhere
in    the     middle.

I don't like lies, I'd rather know the truth..
what say you?  {Tritt/Mellencamp}

OH WOW!!!  Now you just know I love this Donna!!
Hugs~

Now while the leaves still dance on the wind
While the moon and the clouds come spinning
Will you whisper my name again?
Again..and again.

Each day in our lives can be a struggle to find that balance and just when you feel you find it, something tries to tip the scale.  I think you know as well as I that there is only one true balance and that has to come within.  I like this style and this thought process you give us today.  Good to see you stretching your poetry horizons.
