Reaching

Shadows stretch
To reach my side
This place
Where I abide

Extending through
The wind and rain
And through the magna
Flow of drain

It comes for me
In daily mime
Across each day
In creeping time

And I am hypnotized
Each night
To watch the coming
Of the light

While chaos wills the wile away
Within the passing of each day

I do so love the vision of your rhyme.

Say it with more...say it with less...
either way...you say it best.

but the measure is acquired by art.

Delightful morning read Sy!
Did I ever tell you how good it is to wake up each day to your words?
Well..if I did I'm telling you again.

So here you are again,
To while away your day.
You need not sit there bored,
Take us somewhere far away?

To the land of gentle whispers,
Where Randy roars his love.
Let's stop for tea along our way
On a cloud as soft as a dove.

So, what do you say, grab that hat!

Ahhhhh! Such wonderful words and thought.

I am late for tea by American standards but I believe right on time if we transport ourselves to England.

hugs and enjoyed this poem so much.

Absolutely lovely Seymour

Good write Sy

This part affects all of us I'd say...
"While chaos wills the wile away
Within the passing of each day"

Great to have this poetic escape isn't it?

Good writing as usual.

Cpat,
It's not the read, but the seed.
