Pale Shade Moon

Artist’s brush of morning sun
First day after turn of time
Pale shade moon glowing light
Still in reach of mine

Reds and golds of green gone fall
Orange come yellows, too
Find me well in softest light
In early cool of dew

Leaf would hold still harvest moon
Gifts to bring my way
If I a moment could capture this
T‘would please my every day
