Clouds are seamed
Their faces puckered in amazing graces
Looking over limits left upon the sand
Lengths of long and lustrous scribe across the land

In his masculine touch embossed her velvet purse
Pulled tight to somehow hold within it skies, reverse
In gaze upon me but the mirror of the sea
Following the threads that bind these dreams to me

Hand over hand, walking forward to the high ground
Taking posted land into prospering fields of a new sound
Tuning strings rejoiced in music recollected, resurrected
Up above, the favored hindsight laces distant paths reflected

But the slender hands of promises set upon horizons still
Gently straight and narrow guides the fore and back of miles at will
Bearing gifts condensed into each treasured strand of chain
Clouds are seamed in silver stream, most brilliant in between the rain

Much enjoyed dear friend -

Ah, me thinks you caught them unawares, my friend, as you've certainly snapped their picture....wonderful write.

The entire piece was a wonderful read but the above verse really captured me and enticed a second read alone before continuing.  Taking the high ground sometimes can give a better view in front and behind you and sometimes offer up a reflection of paths traveled more clearly than when you were on them.  As always a joy to read you words.
