My life is full of cherries,
That taste both sweet and sour.
Some come with stony pits,
And are hard to devour.

The cherries full of tartness,
They pucker up my lips.
But at least they're low in calories,
And don't fatten up my hips.

I like the ones depitted,
And are sweet upon my tongue.
I could eat bowls of them,
And they would keep me young!

Lovely...reminds me of a card I'm going to give my sweetheart when I see her tomorrow...the front of the card is a bunch of cherries...and inside, two poems for her...she loves plums...especially tart ones...I'm looking for a card with plums...James

You are so sweet and thoughtful. Like your girlfriend, I love cherries and plums. In fact I have a fine set of dishes with pictures of those delectable fruit on them.
