Gently, gently
awakens the crisis
of a kiss,
that does not bring love
or just not
so simply,
and is less contained
by my reticence
to take what comes to me,
quietly, waking
to the finer edge
of the silence
formed by hands
so still, touching
as one hand
holds one hand,
kept in their strict
proportions, the form
of flesh and bones
occurs in the mind,
with the gesture you make
to raise my harsh
and sudden impatience
in kisses that flower
against the vague air you move in,
waking to that sweet tremor
of silence as it erupts
and echoes back a ghost,
when you at last spoke,
gently, gently,
slow with hands
you do not move
unless, to hold me.

This is so well expressed that the tremor was contagious.

Very beautiful!

I found myself whispering this poem as I tiptoed through your delicate weaving of the senses.
