In your wisdom you have taught
the seeking of light,
Words gracing pages
for the world to see
bringing tears
and joy to souls
held in time
released by
the writing of rhyme....

hearts spilled in ink
the blood of kinship
sorrows tied to rainbows ends
where every kettle holds
another day of bright futures

your whispers of dreams
hold visions of tomorrow
and sharing of caring
has eased many minds
touching spirits in soar

laying thoughts to pen
opening doors,
sometimes allowing
healing, needed...
come one, come all
join your words
of life ever lasting

find in yourself
the poet within...

The greatest beauty on earth, is
found in the hearts of those
who love....

I see some sunshine peeking through

Very Nice GS

I'm loving these.

and I am haunted
by my illicit exquisite dream
but I can't really wake up
so I just drift in between

Donna, both the poet within and your inner Light are glowing with this illuminating and inspiriational write.

You write like the angel you are. ~ A self portrait perhaps!

I was thinking of Logan here, as he always gifts us something positive.
But so do you.
A beautiful write, gentle one.

I can't hazard a guess.

But again, It may be a member unfamiliar to me. (Or that I'm a moron)

But the poet you honor should rejoice!

Thanks all.     Ed, your not a moron and yes this poet is familiar to you.  Kacy got it close when she said someone who is always bringing something positive to the boards, but tis not Logan.  Only hint I'm giving is it is female.

I'm thinking Enchantress?

Lovely Donna -

I say it's Karilea!

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

ok gang for those of you who said Kari, you were correct.  Karen, you above all else nailed it just from the title alone!  Stepping into this ladies shoes is not an easy task...but who to write better of poets than our own Sunshiney lady??  Thanks for playing along with me.  You all honor me with your replies, you have put me into some very very wonderful company here.

Sunshine she is, and she does shine through this, although I still see this level of positive shine daily from so many, including yourself, dear Gentle Spirit.
A fine write, and tough act to emulate.
