I walk these meadows
recall lily scents
and snow falls
of yesterday....

My gaze turns towards heaven

{silence becomes this stillness}

Shadows embrace
this noir of night
visions of you remain
dancing my thoughts

The aroma of lovers musk
lingers here
     a moment of passion
entwining souls

captured in moments hold
I still tremble
unshakable memories

and I am left
with this ache
of you....

{a meager attempt to do this poet justice....}

At first, I saw Susie in some of the words you chose.

But, I think you were looking at things through green eyes for this

Oh yes and you portrayed her beautifully Donna.
I do believe this is our own Greeneyes/Lauren.
Excellent....extremely well done!

the form looks like Lauren, but the voice sounds like Kari, either way it is a beautiful write and an honor to the poet.

Oh Donna...that's what you get for trying to wear two masks at once!  LOL...definitively Greeneyes...

This is wonderful, m'dear.  So many are rising so well to meet Wranx' challenge...

and wouldn't you know, my muse went off to its own party!

A hint of Littlewing and Greeneyes I pressume

and I am haunted
by my illicit exquisite dream
but I can't really wake up
so I just drift in between

Am I seeing Sunshine?
LOL, I can see at least three in this one, we have so many ladies who write love so well!
Stylistcally, I see more of Greeneyes or even Littlewings, maybe even Martie in theme after the second read. Whoever it is, your wrote a fine piece!

I too thought Sunshine - but then again, I can see the green eyes - either way, simply lovely -

Greeneyes for sure!
