I sought answers from your spirit,
when you were young, wild, and strong.
I longed to be free, like you,
and admired your defiance
when others sought to bind you.

You couldn’t live by their ways.
They told me to keep pushing you,
and I did, I pushed you, hard
to be true to yourself,
to keep finding yourself.

Now, in the stillness of this place
I sit quietly next to your bones.
Someone said that energy
is neither created nor destroyed,
it just changes form

and that comforts me...

I bring flowers and prayers
and my fingers grope in the dirt
seeking answers once again.

How shall I live?

The breeze nudges apples
off the tree
above your stone.
An autumn leaf message is delivered
in soundless voice...

be joyful now...

I whisper my response, to your soul.
I pray that you are still free.
And I pray you will stay near me, and

push me, hard...

Kahlil?

more free than they were here on this plain:

I pray that you are still free.

I cannot see them NOT pushing you, they already have, look above  *grin*

This is one amazing write.

Amazing write...and yes, your best by far.
Into my library with this gem.
