Dark plum scarf of night
Loosely drawn at the neckline
Effortless, wingspan lifting up
Giving birth to flesh of sound
Like a baby boomer of eternal life
Parental rosy fingers, discovering echoes
From seasonal love, building something warm
Composed
Absolute
Lettering
Pulse sharing hours
Blowing as it pleases
Like a recharged battery
Illuminating grassy scarlet & opaque browns
Where streets sigh lonely
Long pale reeds show healing hands
And ground swells, wake early
Into a periwinkle youth
Halfway to some place in time’s future
Making perfect sense
A rhythm way past midnight
When the world is quiet
Murmurs like an invisible surging ocean
Sprawling across the page of fathoms deep
Gurgling primrose trickling millions of
Voicemails of happy meals
A missing thing, docking missile-launches
Overtures
Filling emptiness
Reaching to touch forgotten dreams
Spilling a stone touch, warm…alive
Folding beautifully, humming grasses
Of a whispering blackberry sea
Like a gypsy women leaping patterns
This way and that
Dancing an ancient corona
Like water vapor spilling mouthfuls
Of empowered catalysts
Ambrosial suckling scents
Chiseled molecules turning cartwheels
Round night sky, planting violets
Of Ophelia pearls
Feeding every living thing
While they sleep

LeeJ:
good morning to you...
I especially love these lines:
"Ambrosial suckling scents
Chiseled molecules turning cartwheels
Round night sky, planting violets
Of Ophelia pearls
Feeding every living thing
While they sleep"

...the sounds of these words
and the pictures they create...
I like to read them aloud.

Lee, always enjoy reading the "Sprawling across the page of fathoms deep" of your vivid descriptions and thought-provoking words.

May your day be full of wonderful experiences to be parlayed into fine verse.

Absolutely beautiful Lee.
I especially love the above passage...
it could stand alone.
