My soul, stark, white on beige
on black
stares back at me,
blank

I sigh as I hear the siren

singing

just for me

and this

your mirrored image
cracking, blending with my own
shards
of us both
dive deep

into my pocket

Saved for another day of wonder

OH, this is way too cool
some people just stick to your heart and mind like they were made of velcro, heh, and you can never toss them away (and if this be who I think it is, he writes words that strike like lightning)
I came back for another read, and discovered another whose mask this could be. (and she IS lightning, LOL)

Well done-

Thanks guys, as you know this is difficult to try to even attempt to wear someone else's mask.
Thanks for reading and goodness, my apologies to the poet.
  thank you

A beauty Susie

I didn't know you could speak Australian

Fun, isn't it? To look out of someone elses eyes for a bit.
