When  The Sun Goes Down
~ By Sue ~

As the sun goes down, I think of you
And all the things we use to do

There were times, when things were good
I always did what I should

Still, our marriage fell apart
I felt the pain deep inside my heart

The love I once felt from you
Seemed to have left me too

There were many things I did back there
To show how much I did care

When I am sitting here alone
I think about my home

The one I had to leave that day
When I had to go away

The things that I had to leave behind
Still linger in my mind

But someday, I will have all those things again
And, my broken heart will mend

This ends on a hopeful forward-looking note, Sue. My wish for you, is to have the happiness you seek.

I believe you will have the things that you desire...but I know that is hard to believe until you have those things...hoping for good things for you...James

Excellent write Sue and it's so good to read you again.

Dear Sue, this hurts, but in the same moment I feel your strength and good will to overcome the pain and to look forward.

Beautiful, touching write.

SweetSuzieQ~
Not only will you have 'those things' again ... you will have MORE~

You've come a long way and there is new love waiting just around the next bend~
You'll see~
