Saturday, October 24, 2004 2:15 P.M.

Weep not for the pain that I feel,
‘Tis but heartache I’d not conceal,
Soon the sun will upspring again,
After my prayers are said, “Amen.”

These colors hurt my bleary eyes,
When has such a blue touched the skies?
It seems mayhap that this is dream,
But I’d ne’er fancy such a theme.

Fallen is our commander and chief,
Unready yet honest is this grief,
Goodbye beloved, dearest, grand dad,
I’ve naught more to say. My heart’s sad.

Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history!
