angels
     those humanshapes with white wings
that are god's messengers and things

I saw them once

it was in the Poconos....
     No
it was
              that they saw
          me

I walked
         aware
       through the halls
of their judging
              black eyes
       the thin faces all pointed
in MY direction

        they knew human
(were comfortable with)
           and our uncomfortable
                twitch
and the woodenweight across
       our brow's muddy boots

but I

         was
               reforged

    I had killed them before

those that wore
        our fur and bore
live young
           (river warm run)

and they

   in their white
          white
      tails
all
     six hails
                   gave me god's message

and I
        in the lung-emptying awe
of a new believer

        saw

that angel-white

              is the
                     Spark
         carried
                     in All Eyes

WOW  just wow, I  can't stop saying wow.

Maree

and I am haunted
by my illicit exquisite dream
but I can't really wake up
so I just drift in between

Bri?

you have a most beautiful soul . . .

This is transcendental . . .
It is one of those things that really cannot be known, but felt deep within the chest, you somehow have written of this, which astounds me.

Amazing.

In awe of your talent, having seen this many times myself, but never really knowing WHAT it was.  Thank you . . .

I get the image of a great hall,

and a hunter's markings of his own greatness,

in taking down the life of something,

perhaps,

greater.

Excellent work, Bri...
I have missed you.

I don't believe you've written anything I've liked better!

And I've liked a lot...a LOT

Bri...tremendous...

Used to live in the Poconos?  Where did you go?

That is a growing area, especially now, since gambling was approved in PA

Absolutely stunning...being from Pa, I know this sight well, yet fail to notice its beauty at times
