“A Name Tag And A Bar Tap”
(23/10/04) © 2004 Brian Eggertsen, All Rights Reserved

Seen lovers hearts,
Fade within the hands of time.
Seen misery,
Feed upon souls stuck behind.
A masquerade of a relationship,
Where love’s become the complete opposite.

Each day’s a “death, kill, destroy.”
Anything to fill the void,
Of A Name Tag And A Bar Tap.
Abuse of an abuser,
Is named after each loser,
With A Name Tag And A Bar Tap.

Seen lonely eyes,
Wandering around empty streets.
Seen dying prayers,
In blossomed minds of young seeds.
Playing with the night and it’s deceases,
Until it’s time to pick up the pieces.

Each day’s a “death, kill, destroy.”
Anything to fill the void,
Of A Name Tag And A Bar Tap.
Abuse of an abuser,
Is named after each loser,
With A Name Tag And A Bar Tap.

There’s no eye contact, nothing’s kept intact,
When folk’s with no life’s feeling trapped.

Each day’s a “death, kill, destroy.”
Anything to fill the void,
Of A Name Tag And A Bar Tap.
Abuse of an abuser,
Is named after each loser,
With A Name Tag And A Bar Tap.

maybe time to visit a different bar?
'something to fill the void'
Yes, I've seen this scene before.

A lot of people have seen it and lived it.

The secret is to come out of it.
