The Creaking Chair

Copyright 2004 by:Mark V Sheldon

Wicked wind will whisper words
While weaving waxing wicks

Brushing brooms become black birds
By breaking brimstone bricks

Shadow’s shroud shall shelter shoals
Should shameful shaman share

Carnal calls cast cauldron coals
Crowd circles creaking chair

Fun, Mark - love the use of the "letters" and the spooky seasonal feel -

Hi Mark!
Love the alliterations...especially

"Shadow’s shroud shall shelter shoals
Should shameful shaman share"

That one I found very difficult to say aloud quickly.

Hugs~

That is it,  I knew it was an "A" word
that brought this to us.  Sorta like,
Awwwwwright,  Attaway,  and a few others.

Nicely done Mark

Thank you, Susan.  Halloween is so much more fun than Christmas...

EA:  it was challenging but enjoyable.  As for the things that go "bump in the night"...

Hiya, Nancy.  Yes -- that one sure shounds shtrange.

Thank you, Barry.  I'm glad you enjoyed.

Sy:  thank you for noticing.

Kacy:  Yeah...  it's kind of like that.

J.Samm, I appreciate the compliment.
