Resting With The Angels

Dear Joyce now free from pain
She is with the angels above
Each night when I view the stars
I will remember her with love

I've shed many tears of sadness
Yet its so hard to say goodbye
I know she is resting with angels
In their meadow way up high

Joyce had a gentle loving heart
Shared her ever caring touch
Within our hearts she will remain
We will all miss her so much

She named us all meadowlarks
I will remember her each day
Memories are wonderful things
No one can take them away

This was written today for the loss of a dear caring poet friend that ran another poetry. board named Mutington's Meadow ...http://www.voy.com/7622/

Hope, you are so right no one can ever take those memories away, and I am glad you shared wonderful ones with your friend before she died.  I know you will cherish them. Nice dedication to a friend indeed.

Thank you Hope for sharing this information
and the beautiful poem for Joyce.  She was
an outstanding poetess,  could write extremely well,  and has left many of her
poems that are brilliantly crafted.  I am
glad someone got the word out....

She is and will be missed by many...
