give me the moment, sable
ribbons sealed
like sutures
over the exhausted soul,
the body hauls
a new radiance in kilos,
sews words full of holes,
aching, just you,
just waiting
on the silverside of night,
to suffer my innocence
in no simple despair,
so quickens the bullet pulse,
as your tongue alludes
to the alloy where flesh
and silver forge their seam,
and dream is but a stone's throw
to oblivion,
these valentine moments
given in ripples, restless
even in the quiet, cerulean shrug
of shoulders strapped to holsters of steel,
faith seals the skin
on bruised crystal slabs
wherein you run quick fingers,
that blister sable over sutures
to heal urgency
in a silver flurry
of exit wounds.

babygirl ..... I don't understand, which is not unusual for me, but the sounds and rhythm are altogether fascinating. Well done. Bob

Bob...

"babygirl ..... I don't understand, which is not unusual for me, but the sounds and rhythm are altogether fascinating. "

Luckily...I am truly not trying to convince anyone of anything when I write...lol...Much of my poetry is layered with meanings...and how I feel it, may never be how anyone else will interpret it...which is fine...I only ask that when you do stop to read me...be open, and ride my vibe...which is just what you did...so thank you, love...

I appreciate the time you take to travel these moments with me...

love&so much light,
**babygirL**

Ride your vibe - like that - and what a ride you give -

I hate exit wounds but loved your version of how they feel when felt with a tender heart.

Like LeeJ, I'm speechless.
Thanks for sharing, by the way, you look exactly like someone I know from school....atleast from your picture you do. Coincidence, I guess.

I was thinking after reading this the second time - no wonder I don't want to be anyone's valentine LOL.  Is this from the Valentine series?
