 Picture by Josephine Wall * * * I never knew how much I loved you Until the day you passed away But your love lives on inside me And I think of you each day So many of your interests Have now become a part of me One of my passions is photography Through the lens, so much I see I feel compassion for other people And believe I have so much to give I help those who are less fortunate Of my life, there's much to live A gift of self is priceless We all need love to see us through My humble hand of friendship Is what I'd like to offer you If my words have touched your heart Or have caused your face to smile Then my words were not in vain And my reward is so worthwhile I am in motion |
