Don't know how you got my name
from a phone book, an on-line message
various letters snipped from a newspaper
to make up a Hitchcock demand
what is there to do but follow commands

So many follow the commands to the letter
never to let go of the verbal tethers
after all they learned to read
once their kind is traced
no wonder crime breeds...

Demands come on special mortgage rates
haven't looked into new homes of late
demands for me to receive extended wills
probably meant for me to pay for a lawyer's bill
demands for me to receive a green card pass
what smells is the hundreds of dollars asked

All these requests are fodder for intrigue
the weak will fall into a devious league
don't know how my name was taken
know only I won't nab false bacon.

LOL, I love your last 2 lines....

Martin, Sounds like you receive alot of spam..... hmmmm a familiar story.... I get about 200 a day!!!! I sometimes think that someone stamped sucker across my bang line.  Do you have a spam blocker?
Just lately I have become the victim of identity theft (someone tried to use cheques I lost almost 2 years ago to get AOL and wrote $250 against my account) luckily, I didn't have enough in there at the time to go through.

The criminal element these days are becoming ever more resourceful.

Well expressed

Sherry

Thank you all for commenting. Don't believe in spam blocker put out by computer software companies and such, you're just opening yourself up to their advertising...I just click and delete fast..
