Tell me
again
why I
deserve
such space and time,
the physics
to fantasize
deeply driven
darkened thoughts,
lying akimbo
in my Jesus Christ pose,
like a whirligig
spun out of control,
crashing to burn
before I am set on fire.
Not unlike the sweetened blush of
a lone, fresh petal the
velveteen rush of
blood coming straight
through roots to air
brushing my lips,
moistening my cheek,
each petal soundly
sleeping . . .

a reverie

between one dream
and another, concealing
the source
in the deep-surge
of some aspen night,
how it takes,
how it cherishes,
the palewhite
slowfast moth
threads the burning pillars
of rosepetals, all split,
all spilt over the hour
of calm and silences
spill over your willing, dark throat,
lower now, shadows
cast no bodies but these,
beaten silver
with hands to arrest
this eternal moment,
in a semblance of black rain,
perishing into ache.

Tell me
again
out of what vehemence
could we slow
this vertigo...

Well well... what a treat.

An absolutely fantabulous collab.

Well done both of you. I look forward to more.

into my library you both go.

Tres belle.

I was looking forward to this, but didn't expect it so soon!

This is pretty much as expected..Thick and rich.

Quite a dance ladies!

"Velveteen" and "vehemence" in the same write, a conceit of each methinks.

And they said it couldn't be done...lol

I love it when birds of a feather dance together (two of my very favorite people) that don't even know yet how alike they truly are.   Ladies, you do a mean word jive.

Thank you so much Sharon, Kacy and Maureen, My God much too good to us and me, always have been . . .

A Jesus Christ pose the way I meant was well, kind of tired, like JC was at the end . . . Soundgarden wrote a tune entitled that and it seemed to fit right here.

Thanks guys . . .

I forgot to save the thing that is why I forgot this!  Good thing you reminded me to save it, as when two birds of a feather fluff feathers together - the down is the softest ever!

I can still beg for another can't I?  Making a duet book and need it filled - lots of room yet.

One day my girls when they are grown up will say, "Boy Gramma sure knew a lot of good poets."  Either that, or "Man was she was crazy to collect all this stuff!"

Anyway I love you two and you know it!
