Siege
Under

debating the finalness of it all
the letters to words to sentences to
non meanings
creating a false world
where fingers stiff from cold
walk alone
surrendering to the now
being blamed for
the colorless rainbow
once arced, fluorescent and beautiful
once there overshadowing it all

these many years, already too many
spreading thin
the feminine side of me
bringing out
the silent stare of one
under seige knowing
"too late" had replaced
the forever

one can twist the dreams
become trapped in Autumn's breath( a borrowed phrase)
and live
in these troubled waters( another)
the once bathing in vanilla
past
for the body's reaction
as to all things once loved
has become adverse
to circumstance

debating the issues
amongst
me, myself and I
clashing with all
that once mattered
waiting for the resolutions
that may never come...

I find myself on the cusp...of "too late". Not yet...but soon.  Thanx for posting

"debating the issues

and I think for me the secret was in learning how to recognize when the resolutions weren't going to come and moving on...

life is so hard sometimes..

and you do that feeling justice in your writing.
