Winter slept
in the wild innocence of orchids,
silent white songs crouched
and swollen as blood on the tongue
swells with one breath held precious
and broken by the watermark
that floods over my mouth,
smitten by the warmth of blood
as it tunnels the cradle
out of which my flesh came
into this wilderness of wild orchids
whose dreams bleed a little deeper,
plunge into another heavy silver,
un-breathable slowing element,
your trust, bears the liquid colors
I have no use for, anymore
than one breath held precious
and broken, crouched in cinders,
here is the hurt and how it lasts
forever, as I cast my blood
on the waters that bore our love,
in innocence, winter slept
in the desperate pink flesh of my lips,
as it tore away on your tongue
like the papery wing of a moth,
bloodied by the dormant thirst
of frozen orchids.

"Winter slept

I cannot get over how much you remind me of my own style, when I get truly inspired.
I love.
Just love.

Excellent! and easy to see why you are in print.

You have an exceptional voice.

(I would say to pay Serenity no mind, except that she too is a singular talent and well worth the read.)

baby.....What?...Do you ever sleep?..Or do you just ponder on poems in all your free time?...Do you just come up with all this or is this stuff you've written over a period of time?....Whatever the case, your mind works incredibly...
