I wanna be more honest me
strobing with a displaced hip
sideways eyes a-scramble-cling
dancing dizzy light above...

I want, I want, some clarity -
probing with a misplaced quip
sideways eyes are rambling
to the spark
a-re-flec-ting
from the globe a whirl...

I wanna be an honest thing
skin me -
I'm a dead rabbit.
sideways slice -
the eyes half-lit--
"I've-had-quite-enough-of-this"

now I'm saying "no,"

Count me in the commonstead -

parity--

a bodybag.

I have always thought you to be  (extremely honest)...but I know what you mean...

honesty in return  would sure help...especially if understanding the question or situation without the other jumping to conclusions...or answering in what they think we would like to hear instead of truth.

*making me think too much so early and I am going now...you too, get some rest!!! and that is an order!!!!!!!

hope you don’t mind….
give me words of clarity
letters formed from sincerity
truth that I can understand
that will not melt in heart or hand
built on faith, hope and trust
a solid grasp in blowing dust
give me something I can hold
not just words that I want told

I see this on many levels - would it not be nice that we all be honest and equal - remembering we are each the same, even in our differences -

Interesting food for thought here-

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.

serenity,
I think this parity was written by Flarity
The Irish have a tendency to exaggerate.
But well done.

WHO is making fun of the Irish, hmmm?
*clutching me lucky charms*
I am insane . . .
but this, K?

Tell me
again
why I
deserve
such space
and time
the physics
to think
such thoughts
like a whirligig
spun out of control
crashing to burn
before I am lit.

(ok, that just popped out)

you always make me vomit poetry.

This is the first poem I've read since coming back from Iraq and I must say that it is a great piece.

rkcraig?

Coming from you, my friend, that is the most awesome reply I could ever hope for.

Welcome home, and thank you.

(as for those ladies comments above you, don't mind them. They just like to find new and interesting things for me to do. )

You just made me proud, rk. Thanks again.

Now this just isn't fair...
y'see I can waste hours sitting in front of paper
and even at my best
I can't come up with stuff like this.
You're good!
Love readin' ya...
