Such a fragile thing, resolve
our Achilles heel;
its bleeding and death absolve
Evil; hearts congeal
in fear
we tender
our surrender

again?

Earth's crammed with heaven, and every common bush afire with God, but only he who sees takes off his shoes.

Dear, dear, Denise
Your words are flowing in their most glittering form'
Let them pour.
If I were a word in your heart, I would swirl in its splendor as long as I could, but would flow in ecstasy onto your page at the given moment
So nice he hear your heart
Love
Liz

Or do we opt to rely only on faith? Much food for thought in this brief and excellent write. Good it is to see you writing here!

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

CocoBaci - Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Copperbell - Thanks for reading and replying!

Elizabeth - I'm still having a problem with the words flowing onto paper thing. Thanks for such a beautiful reply! I miss you. We have to get together again soon.

Marge - And I am very, very pleased that you are very, very pleased! Thanks for your kind words!

Larry – Yes, faith is the answer no matter the problem. I think without it, I’d have gone insane by now. Actually, I wrote this after reading an article about the resolve of the American people and how the dissolution of it is our enemy’s greatest weapon, hence, our Achilles heel.

Magnus – Thanks! It’s nice to know that I’ve been missed! I'm glad you enjoyed my poem!
