The thought of you makes thrill within me
A transitory verb like breeze through silk blinds
It’s undoing of winding roads and buttons
Filling spaces and distance with alchemy
Turning what was lost to found inside of me
Reaching highs and lows so grand

Excavating depths unknown by hand
Puzzle pieces edged in perfect cut
Round and fitting even seemed as quite unwitting
Your voice the smoother coupling
In my dreams breathes warm against my neck
And laughter echoes sweet the tallest rafter
Buoyed in the very basin of remember oh so well

The starts and stops that happen only time can tell
And conversations that were meant to be so slight
Somehow became deeper in their meaning given might
You felt it too…the purred nonsensical emotions fuller brew
Each time you poised to strike out with reality
My voice against your heart…leaned to thinner wounds

I love you
Making moments in the brush of thighs that caught me by surprise
Repeating to my heart the reasons that are now a part of always
Fidelity that calls to me in moments aching for your touch
Looking into eyes of foreign soils…keeping me held safe
And yet a lonely smile recants of what you may not feel, or see
Even as the wind might carry me…you are my sweetest day

And that in turn reveals the path where I must stay
To still survive, live happily to be alive…but happiness is mute
And without you, another time could not refute
The fumbling of my fingers through your meadow
Questioning the blossom as I find each view anew…and speak
The longing still, a touch to ever keep and seek

That I love you through the strongest whether
And all around my heart beats gentle ever
In a friendship needed now, and even more
Cover me in shiver of the river when
This kiss upon your cheek repeals and then

The form this love will take runs clear again

The thought of you makes thrill within me
A transitory verb like breeze through silk blinds
***********

Superb start. Gets the mind thinking right away.
***********

Your voice the smoother coupling
In my dreams breathes warm against my neck
And laughter echoes sweet the tallest rafter
Buoyed in the very basin of remember oh so well
************
Then we get this ... a wonderful dreamscape image of thoughts with sound included.
************

I love you
Making moments in the brush of thighs that caught me by surprise
Repeating to my heart the reasons that are now a part of always
Fidelity that calls to me in moments aching for your touch
Looking into eyes of foreign soils…keeping me held safe
And yet a lonely smile recants of what you may not feel, or see
Even as the wind might carry me…you are my sweetest day
*************

Loads of impact in that verse, anticipation, realization, breathless yearning with whispers of passion.
************

And that in turn reveals the path where I must stay
To still survive, live happily to be alive…but happiness is mute
And without you, another time could not refute
The fumbling of my fingers through your meadow
Questioning the blossom as I find each view anew…and speak
The longing still, a touch to ever keep and seek

**************

REALITY
*************

That I love you through the strongest whether
*************

caught that and loved the way it brings full circle to this whole piece encompassing so much in just one line alone.

5 stars for and excellent write.
