In lieu of seymour I do beg
your patience as I pull his leg
to come and write some poetry
Oh let him hear our plea!

Yanno? Methinks that he just might!
But then I HAVE been up all night...
wishing I could wave my cup
seymour? sweets? Y'must get up!

I cannot sleep without.

cuppa coffee add a verse
surely you cannot do worse
for I've broken every rule
but curse--egads--what da foooooooooooo?

Seymour get up off yer ass!
These poets need you and yer sass
Read our words and know them true--
Seymour, know that we love you.

We cannot do without.

We miss you.

A call to a friend
that echoes without end.

Well written.  KJ

The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light

The sun is peering down in search
and looking 'round all over earth;
I need my Tea, my poems that glint
the sky and stars with a Sy tint...

wherever you are, wherever you be...
know your held in heart's poetry...

oh woe is me
for I can not see
the wonderful guy
that we call Sy

My coffee just isn't the same
my mornings are a strain
My sun is no longer shining
and I sick of hearing my own whining

Sy, darling man
come back to us as soon as you can!!!

As I pondered life's disasters
I never thought of "sy" as "master"
but if a stranger dark should ask
I could, I would, complete the tasks
of a Tabin before me...
I swear, I pray, upon my knees

seymour grant us poetry.

Dear Sy, the Chai tea is getting cold,
And you know me I can't be bold.
So, I'll ask you ever so polite,
My *sigh* guy please come and write.

I’m lost and sad and cannot think
My morning sunshine’s lost its wink
Our dear poet is MIA, I dread to fear
We’ve lost our academic Shakespeare?

Where is that light of heaven’s smile?
From whence the king of sonnets Nile?
Oh Sy, come back with verse so yummy
The coffees weak & stains my tummy

I need a fix of your regard
One word, a line or lovely postcard?
I’m tethered and all tattered to
Oh my gosh, I’m so confused

Our Sy’s the start of every day
His voice a thousand smiling waves
Oh where oh where can that man be?
We’re lost and feeling kinda crappie

He’s the limb of  mankind’s growth
A constellation that all women betroth
I’ve become a screaming mental patient
And need a fix of Sy’s embracement

I can’t go on….”OH WOE IS ME”
My make ups clumped and runny
He’s Sy the tool time web based poet
Has anyone seen our Lancelot?

Dear oh dear, my oh my
Where is our blessed loving Sy?
Our daily bread, who always can
I’ll scream and shout till he returns

WE LOVE THAT MAN!!!!
WE LOVE THAT MAN!!!

Come back…come back….
We're getting weak
From lose of Sy’s young frothy winks
We’re fading fast, so don’t delay
cuz
It ain’t the same without our sansei

The sun is up and shining
but no warmth can I feel
As I sit waiting and pining
I need Sir Sy to help me heal

I'll bet he thought no one would notice him gone ...
Could it be he didnt know he was our poetic dawn?
Did he not realize he was the first verse of our day?
Did he not know we hang on every word he has to say?

Sy you are our recommended daily dose of rhyme ...
Just what the doctor ordered to keep us in metered time.
You're our vitamin verse of all thats right and true
Our prescription of humilty & humanity written in blue.

Our first couplet of cadence to jump start the day,
Our ritual of wisdom to help us find our way.
Our scripture of enlightenment charting the course...
Our lighthouse of guidence...Sy you are the source!!

So round up Randy and come back when you can ...
We miss our king of cadence, our sweet sonnet man.

Egads, oh crap, Ok, I'll try
To honor Sy by writing rhyme
and put aside my own conceits
of ancient gods and lustful treats

To try and say in even metre
that I am too, a morning reader
and if my life depended on it
I could never write a sonnet

See?!? See!?! Even THAT hurt my brain
I admire your skill m'friend

And, oh yeah....Where the heck are ya amyway?

Woke up this morning feeling sort of blue
Called in to work not knowing what to do
Said I would be late as I cannot seem to move
I need that poetry fix to get into my groove

No problem they said ... just take your time
We know your addiction to verse and rhyme
I came into passions to get a cup of seymour
Didn't see his name and fell to the floor

I kicked and screamed and pouted so loud
My poor horse ran leaving a big dust cloud
How am I to get to work and earn some bucks
Not having Sy here ... well it really sucks

To all my customers I just have this to say
Don't blame me, Sy won't come out and play
I cannot help you without my morning jump
Without Sy's rhyme I am just a big ole grump

Now me I love the tea and such
I love the wit within Sy's touch
but that Randy Dragon when not around
I must admit really gets me down

I miss you, Sy!

Thanks for this, Karen.

Behold, thine Heavens as they speak this morn
On weathered wind above for all to hear
Heart questioning wherein mine hath been torn
Doth music fall its note upon deaf ear
Most times the tenderest of heart does beat
In thund’rous melody with One above
It is this tune we evermore repeat
An endless journey that I once did love
Eternal beauty eyes that once did see
Reflected ever in mine self but true
Are resting now within tranquility
And savored thus are herein kept for you
Now in this world I spend my daily life
In murderous extant of haste and strife

see what NO SY does?

(ok so Nan helped me   )

waving as I'm running through
you see, I've been missing too
not much time tween work and rest
a half-hour visit here at best

roommate's driving me crazy all day
I have to work to get away
and hospital-bound in an ambulance
the EKG just made no sense

but here I am till I get thrown in jail
for roommate battery
or till my heart breaks all the way
and I have no poetry

they'll put me six feet in the ground
I'll still miss the love I found
in the poetic words of Sy

Get your old ass up
You've slept in way to long
You've left Serenity wanting
And you know that's just plain wrong.

We're used to seeing you posting
Every morning around six
When you haven't been here
It leaves our thoughts quite mixed

So quit golfing with that Balladeer,
Or dreaming about sex
Get your old ass out of bed
And post poetic text!

Mr. T. is dear to me
Not only for his poetry
But for his wisdom and his grace
And for the smile upon his face.

Loving hugs,

Where oh where has seymour gone?
There he is, basking in the sun!
Panning rays for a golden rhyme
Yet don’t fret-he’ll be back in time.
