let eternity burn
an illusion of gray fugue
on eyes that lost their way
in the mists of love,
hours shoved slowly
into forever,
severed from the core alleyways
in the sore flesh and soul,
let memory perish
pithed in the cherished folly
of a fool's desire,
whose fire burned
the dire sanctuary of sacred vows,
into a liar's prison
of beveled mirrors,
immersed in dark liquor
this love dissolves,
like the taste of hasty faith
dries on the rusty blades of trust,
for only in grief
is a ghost given bulk
to bleed living silver
from the honeysuckle marrow
of a red tomorrow,
and burn,
for no words are eternal.

Ahhh babygrl, it's lovely to read you again, the above lines stood out. So much is said in just those lines alone.

Enjoyed.
