Written during sermon titled:
"What Do You See"
Mark 8:22-26
presented by Dr. Pryor

In Seeking

though my eyes are sighted
I stand within a mist
a fog envelops me
creates a daze
a maze
of mystery
in weakness I seek
strength of sight
I plead for vision
of the truth,
Your truth,
the beauty
of Your world–
understanding,
clarity
of purpose,
of faith,
of promises
fulfilled

Help me, Oh, Lord,
receive Your touch
and true sight

©October 10, 2004

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.
