To be in love with you soft pink fingers hidden in the dawn lit snow living behind your brown eyes I wanna be soft dark hair watch the light as it glows into the depths of my eyes I need to be inside you wishful thinking that I can live with you that I can dedicate October dew see the sunrays play in the space between our breath it's so cold I'm trembling I'd like to be in love with you sorrowful full moon falling over me at night living behind my vacant smile it's important for me to be in love with you soft pink lips finding me out pulling me into the light it's all I can see it's all I can do to be in love with you sighing in the wind losing the sound of you cupped in my hands lighting a cigarette cradling your face publishing my soul on the low clouds to breath inside you it's all I can do to be in love with you "Poets are all who love, who feel great truths, and tell them; and the truth of truths is love." --Philip James Bailey |
