Not all people have the same coloured hair
some grow with ginger crops that are fair
face the ridicule of dark capped mates
enter into a world of scorn filled hate.

Now ginger's the spice wrapped into dough
the actress that followed Gilligan's flow
though always prepared for a lucky break
a stereotyped character of Hollywood fake.

There is Ginger in Dancing Cheek to Cheek
entertained audiences of brave and meek
the spicy foods eaten by ginger people
a quality attached to the ability
of maneuvering about carefully.

In a nation of people who suffered abuse
some might have opted for the life of recluse
a Ginger nation is there to raise attention
on abuse red-haired people received without affection...

Share experiences with other ginger haired folk
to make life more bearable stroke for stroke.

Not sure I understand it, but I do enjoy
gingered moments.

I added the first stanza Midnite to make the poem go full circle...thanks for reading. Appreciate your comment too James.
