We are a pixelated patchwork of passion,
revealing hints of our hues here and there.
Something or someone is needed to piece us together
for us to feel the full warmth of share,

a masterful seamstress
with a compassionate soul,
a spirit who only has one goal,
the unity of mankind.

What this colorful world needs,
is someone of consummate care and skill,
able to gather diverse loose threads,
bind them together with loving feel,
allow the beauty of all to become real,
encouraging all to do fair deeds.

If looking for the proverbial needle
necessitates digging daily
beneath giant haystacks of fear,
then so be it,
for we must seek and find
one who understands that
a stitch in time
may save mankind.

LOL, thanks sweet gentle one, but I am just a seeker of answers, haven't got a single solid plan in my hand as to how to extricate humanity from it's self-stranglehold.
Come to think of it, I've yet to see any leaders worldwide who have a plan that is viable, but that doesn't mean I'll give up trying to find peaceful ways to control rabid dogs.
I always appreciate your visits, m'friend.

Kacy,
Wonderful, wonderful thoughts and writing. It's as if you were looking in my soul today...

Thank you, K.!

Okay, you got me on my hands and knees in the barn looking for that darn needle.

Seriously, this is a good message to share and I like the way you stitch up the reasoning behind it all.  It seems so simple, but as we all know, it isn't.  You penned it well and the thoughts come across in a well hemmed patchwork of thoughts.  Enjoyed the read much.

LOL, I'm chuckling...I thought that's what we need in a president, and as I read the first comment, I saw I wasn't the only one thinking about what we need at the top...the earthly top, that is.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Is mother nature the seamstress?
If so, then the tapestry is already done,
And woven in the fabric are the ways
(my opinion)to save mankind

"for we must seek and find

Yes! May the enlightened one be found! There are surely some great spirits, but maybe they suffer from agorafobia?

Great write, dear Kacy, you are a beautiful seeker.

Love, Margherita
