Passing Things

Each day I pass so many things
That fades away like dreams at night
They pass before my eyes in strings
Like puppets held within the light

They dance upon a scale of mind
In weighted down finality
A scale that’s balanced by the blind
To make a stones reality

Each stone inscribed by times ingest
Stands before the passer by
A symbol of a journeys quest
A thing that change has turned to vie

Each day we pass so many things
Showing in the path of light
It passes like the bells that ring
And disappear into the night

This vision is of times begun
I know my heart that all is one

comfort zone of season's soul a dream's
descent which is so benifical to culture
what will be...which is basically out of our hands, unless we fight in discord...making our own roads a bloody mess....

Smiles and hugs you incredible poet you (Wink) the mind is a tremendous thing, and the questions become answers, little rolly polly lights...and there you are Sy...each and every morning

Thank you

The whole write was great but I really liked the above verse the best.  Sort of just rang something inside me.  Maybe not disappearing completely though as you did pen this in realization I take it, so possibly on hidden in the back of our minds until called upon.

Much enjoyed.

Dear Seymour, yes, all is one! Whatever theme you choose you are just great in your poetic reflections.

The human brain is more complex than even the most fabulous giant electronic center. A constant flow of data, visions, thoughts .... to keep all well ranged is another problem, some things luckily fade!

Love and hugs. Margherita

Sy-babers, this is such a gem of pen...I love this wisdom filled, cadence kissed, offering. Those two verses alone are worth poetic gold for the truth and they teach us, for the depth they speak of, for the exploration and discovery they lead us to.
Me thinks I will take this one on my next hike to the creek and read it to the rocks and trees.

I know my heart that all is one

(this I already knew about you)

Good Morning Sy .... You write the most incredible poems and I always look forward to reading them and having tea with you and the girls!

Sometimes we get so comfortable in our surroundings, we miss what is right under our nose.

Sending hugs, Marti
