Am I so fat because I eat my last meal like it’s my last or because I like my last meal I ate? Am I so tired because I work ever so hard or because I have never had to work? Am I so vain because I like myself or because of my house made of mirror? Am I so nervous because I got teased or because I dislike my soul? Am I so angry because I woke up on the wrong side of bed or because I still in this mortal life? Am I so kind because of my parentage or because of that percentage I get for my charity work? Am I so gentle because I feel so appreciative of my time or because I am puny? Am I so in love because I know I have someone to hold or because I am at ease with the world? |
