Standing In Silence...

0 posted 2004-09-30 08:33 PM

You see my smile…
And you hear my laugh…
But do you see all the pain,
That I keep locked away inside?

Or how about all the restless nights?
Or maybe all this sadness and shame?
And all the arguing and fights….
How I’m always the one to blame….

You see my smile…
And you hear my laugh…
But do you see all the pain,
That I keep locked away inside?

With my heart full of hate,
I trudge on and on…
In this darkened state,
Until my soul is forever gone.

You’ll never truly see…
All the tears that I’ve shed.
Or this deader side of me,
With all the hate I have in my head….
How do I live again?

sad
but to answer that final Q?
letting go of hate
is a good first step to loving life

let it go Stac, and let it in the past.
You know, that I know the only way to get to the future is by letting yesterday where it belongs and not carrying it with you anymore.....
and you know where I'm at if you ever want to have a complaining, sharpen the nails session.

The greatest beauty on earth, is
found in the hearts of those
who love....

I've felt a lot of anger here, and perhaps rightfully so...but...in the same, remember, even though you placed your heart in this persons hands, was he/she mature enough to handle it with great care and responsibility
or, were we to interested in having someone in our lives to ask ourselves these questions, giving ourselves time enough to find out if this person is/ and will be a compatible lifetime companion?  Lots of times, we accept due to needs?  I know I did, more then once....doesn't mean this is a bad person, just means, they did the best they could, question is, is that the best for us?  Outstanding write

Love and hugs

In order to heal one must first forgive.
Write it out...and let it go.
Excellent write.
