Now that I have stayed around
in what has become the world of cable news,
prepackaged views,
white folks trying to sing the blues,
I think I'm maybe getting sick
of fort politic,
the cyber-chase,
the biggest shtick,
the media tease
of when the next shoe drops,
like voters should be barefoot
still swinging in the trees,
the TV ads
the intellectual fads
the statist cads,
the sound bite props.
Who's a liar?
Who's your Daddy?
Who can golf without a caddy?
Who is weaker?
Who is strong?
One says, "Stay!"
The other, "Go!"
One says, "Yes!"
The other, "No!"
Who will help us
when they both are wrong?

some days, I feel flipping a coin gives me just as good an answer
though I'd like to see that coin land
on the edge...just once

Crancy is a very polite way of saying it...I'm down right meaner then a bear with a sawed off paw of late...and Thursday Night, I'm probably going to be like Alien....yikes....I wouldn't want to meet me in a dark alley...hehehehhee

Good one, very much enjoyed!

More than happy with the words, the images, the meaning

Because they mean something that it well said

Icebox - I'm still here reading and just wish I had some answers.  Perhaps if we ignore everything it will all just go away and we can be cranky in peace.  You think?

We may have descended from the tree, but ..... true evolution is still an utopia.
The awakening process is taking place though ... somewhere, sometime, the signs will be seen.
Hopefully.
You are so right!

Thank you all for the good will and laughter I found in your comments.

Today's news also made me laugh.  The News Media are SHOCKED that the politicians are telling them the cameras are not in charge.
