The Lime of Mortar

Building blocks of sands of time
Mortared with the bands of lime
Holds this sage of tumbleweed
Imprisoned in an age impede

The lime wears faster then the block
Each passing swing of tick and tock
Dissolving with the music’s fife
Each spring that plays upon its life

A tank with just one door I see
Holding fish that swim with me
Feeding threads of evermore
The wonder of forevermore

And though I catch the breeze of bail
I cannot pass horizons sail
It’s on and on a needles thread
Until I pass alive to dead

And here the process of each when
Fills the needles thread again

This is what I needed to kickstart my day,
Sy.  You be well now...I will check in and
out over the next two weeks, but won't be
a regular...I'll be out finding some
inspiration and walk in some shadows for
a while.

Sy,
Your thoughts always come to me in a sweet melody.  They are deep, yet the current understood. Take care, Sweetie!
