Into The Night

She closed her eyes to hold me.
She had a way of unfolding me.
It was a fine night...the stars,
the moon, and the city lights,
all were well and shining bright.
Out of my sight, thoughts of her
kept running through my head every
time I lay alone in my bed.
My room, seven hundred francs a night,
where she promised to dance with me,
where she kept me close, holding me
tight...into the night...into the night.
Her words, sweet words she whispered soft
and loudly into my ears, her promises
promising and delectably desirable
from a heart that was warm and sincere.
I came onto her, she came onto me, we
embraced sweetly as we kissed passionately.
That Friday night we met at the Club Trance.
I called her Paris, she called me Romance.
Into the night we danced and we danced...

I disagree with David, no sting, but a welcoming of the event....the opportunity to have known her, even though perhaps in every other way you were not compatible...yet, things do come full circle? Yes?

Well, even if I'm wrong, enjoyed both concepts here....and all contributed insights...beautiful
