Forbidden Dance

I did a dance, desires floor
Adagio of pain and awe
A step of longing, lose and grope
Each step an echo of my hope

And low an Angel took my hand
In spite the sin that I demand
And gave to me a glories day
A gift beyond my price to pay

And now I gorse in sorrows sauce
Contusions of desires course
The heartbreak of a foolish sate
Without a way to compensate

The cruel is that I knew damn well
This fool had but a one-way dwell
And thus in weakness I fell shy
I lived the phantom of a lie

What penance can I give this dove?
Except my hearts undying love

Morning Sy!
Your hearts undying love is the greatest gift to give.
Loved this morning's write.
All the best to you and yours.

Morning hugs, to you Mr. T.!

I often listen to Adagio meditative music and it does soothe pains and fills me with awe and hope.

If you were to take this "angel's" hand, I would give unto you, countless days of glory! For no sin commited by a sonneteering poet of God could block the Light of which you are so deserving.

"And thus in weakness I fell shy
I lived the phantom of a lie"

~ Words from a humble man who perhaps is not fully aware of his worth. Nor is he expected to be perfect! We are all works in progress.

No penance is needed to give to the dove of love.

May you sway gently to adagio wrapped in the loving wings of your love dove.

Love & God's Light,
EA
P.S.That poem rocked, Sigh Guy! lol

Nancy,
Kind of you to understand.

Earth Angel,
What other answer could I expect form an Angel. Twice blessed.

reminding me of the ripple effect, and how many lives we effect, in a good way, or a not so good way, which could forever tarnish a believing soul...believing that all of us has been on the receiving end and giving end of this...either way, it could be very very damaging.

A very good reminder Sy...of the lives we so effect....we are all brothers/sisters

Love to you my poet friend....

Sy .... everytime I read one of your inspires, I am awed by what you write.

And you share that 'undying love' with all here.

Blessings and smiles, Marti

The penance is a given when the heart is pure in it's journey and in this you reflect the pureness masterfully.  A true treat to read and as always, excellent penning from you.
